Paypal is one of the tools that a netpreneur or blogger must have. This is one of the safest way to pay and to get paid with all your online transactions. Paypal has been present in the online market payment system and preferred by most merchants and shoppers online. Paypal can be used along with major credit cards. You can send money without sharing your financial information. All your transactions are available in your PayPal history so you can easily track your online spending. Depending on your country of residence, you may be able to add funds from your bank account, accept credit card funded payments, and request money online. In this topic I’ll be talking about Paypal for bloggers and netpreneurs. Some bloggers and netpreneurs don’t own a credit card but Paypal is just really robust in features that it also accepts debit cards. Of course these debit cards must be issued or affiliated with Visa or MasterCard the leading card companies in the world. In the Philippines there a several banks that offer this internationally affiliated debit cards and Sterling Bank of Asia is one of them. Sterling Bank offers their most innovative Shop N Pay Cards. It is a debit card that you can use whenever there is  a Visa or BancNet terminal. And the innovative part is that you can use it online and hence you can use it with Paypal. This debit card functions exactly similar to a credit card but the only difference is that you are spending only what you have in your account. This will give you a full control of your spending and not to get buried in mounting monthly credit card bills.

Now using your Shop N Pay Visa Debit Card with Paypal is easy. After signing up in Paypal, link your card with your Paypal account. You must have current funds in your debit card account because your card will be charged $1.95 but don’t bother this will be credited back to your Paypal account as soon as you provide them with the 4 – digit Confirmation Code that will be reflected in your next bank account statement. But Sterling Bank of Asia doesn’t provide monthly statement of account to their Shop N Pay clients but no fuss you can always visit your branch of account and asked them to give you the 4 – digit code and take note of your transaction date because they will be needing it. And please note also that you must come to the branch within 10 days of your Paypal transaction because they cannot retrieve the 4 – digit code with more than 10 days ago. But still if you happen to have problems and you could not come within 10 days then you can also email their customer service just state your details (Bank Account #, Full Name, Branch of Account, Transaction Date with Paypal, Other Details) to customer.service@sterlingbankasia.com. And you’re done!!!
