The biggest festival in Pangasinan is set on the last week of April this year. Bangus Festival 2010 of Dagupan City in the province of Pangasinan Philippines is one of the grandest festivals of the North. Dagupan being known as the “Bangus Capital of the World” and is acknowledged to have the best tasting and biggest bangus (milk fish) hosts this annual event that draws a lot of tourists, local and foreign alike. The celebration is a thanksgiving for the great harvest from both the land and the sea.Various activities are lined up from April 16 until May1 that includes concerts, trade fairs, cooking contests, streetdancing and sports tournament.
San Fernando Pampanga’s Ibon Ebon festival, Iloilo City’s Dinagyang and Cebu City’s Sinulog will join the grand street dance competition as guest performers. Below is the Complete Schedule of Dagupan Bangus Festival 2010.
