The battle of beauties for the most coveted Miss Universe 2010 is finally over. Jimena Navarrete (Miss Mexico), takes over the crown from Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela, last year’s Miss Universe. The Philippines’ candidate landed as the 4th. runner up in the overall pageant. Completing the top 5 beauties are Miss Jamaica, Miss Australia and Miss Ukraine. Miss Universe 2010 was held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Event Center in Las Vegas, Monday, August 23, 2010.

My Promo Blog is currently under maintenance as I move it to a new server so I’m posting some irresistible promos here. Due to the increase in traffic demand the free hosting I’m using blew up. Recently I was busy setting up our new food blog aptly called The Foodie’s Choice (www.thefoodieschoice.com). This is a new food blog born out of the thought of sharing the food hunting experiences we had here in Iloilo and in the whole Philippines in general. This is actually a collaboration between Aileen and me where she do most of the writings (I might also write sometimes:)) and I am in charge of the photography to make the blog look even more delicious.

The election day is barely 10 days from now and some of us still cannot make up their minds on who really are the right candidates and parties to vote for. Many of us decided to vote for whom because our minds are conditioned and boxed by the surveys and TV ads these politicos are paying for to make them the champions.
