Bacolod Government Center

Attending the DigitalFilipino Bloggers’ Meet Up in Bacolod agitated me not only for the event but also because I will be visiting Bacolod again for the second time around (though just an Island away from Iloilo). With the convenience of RoRo service from Dumangas to Bacolod prompted me to really pursue with the event. I went with Marcos and it was good because he is quite familiar with traveling to Bacolod via RoRo and he is quite acquainted with familiar spots in Bacolod.

Arriving in Bacolod we first took our repast at Manokan Country to fuel ourselves for the stroll around the city. One thing strange I found out with the taste of their chicken is that it tasted like “Bangus”, kinda weird but Marc and I had similar reactions. We then headed to Robinson’s Place Bacolod to meet Eric but we didn’t because he was then at Netopia Lopues San Sebastian not in Robinsons for the DigitalFilipino SEO seminar. We decided to go to the Capitol area to inquire for an overnight room and to shoot some scenes there. Then we took a walk in the direction going to the downtown area dropping to the China 888 Mall and then finally proceeded to downtown and strolled all over until we reached Lopues San Sebastian. We also had a strip at the New Government Center at East Block and afterwards headed to Casino Filipino Hotel for the Bloggers’ event. To continue the story I’ve created a post about the event, click here to read. Below are some of the photos I’ve taken during this trip.
