The battle of beauties for the most coveted Miss Universe 2010 is finally over. Jimena Navarrete (Miss Mexico), takes over the crown from Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela, last year’s Miss Universe. The Philippines’ candidate landed as the 4th. runner up in the overall pageant. Completing the top 5 beauties are Miss Jamaica, Miss Australia and Miss Ukraine. Miss Universe 2010 was held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Event Center in Las Vegas, Monday, August 23, 2010.

Kagay-an Festival is the biggest fiesta attraction in Cagayan de Oro City in honor of Saint Augustine. It is considered the biggest festival celebration in the entire province of Misamis Oriental held every 26th to the 28th of August yearly.
